Daily except Sunday, there're ballet lessons for professional dancers, see the schedule ConfiDance. At classical ballet the human body is the instrument. A main point at ballet is the so-called "aplomb": the perfect assessment, the balance that the is necessary for thedancer to complete stability and preserve control for in stilstand as well as in movement. A correct description of ballet is: classical theatre dancing. Ballet distinguishes himself of other forms of theatre dancing - such as tapdance and modern dancing - by the traditional context, based on the five original positions of the feet, in which the dancer must be practised. By the control of technique the dancer is master of his body. A many years' and straining training waits the dancer before he has that total control of his body. A classical dancer does not have to use these well-known show treads in a show all, either as the five bases positions. But he must be able to carry these positions out when necessary. In each performance it must be clearly visible that he is traditionally trained, that his manner of dancing has been based on those classical techniques, which have originated from the traditional theatre dancing. |
