Stretch “The art of letting go” The human body functions by the grace of countless autonomous reflexes. Tissues like tendons and ligaments for example keep contracting continuously in order to stabilise the body. This reflex could be callled a onesided specialism. It must be interrupted frequently to prevent the body from becoming more and more immobile and stiff. As long as we do enough and varied exercising the body will spontaneously find the balance between stability and mobility. Once this balance is disturbed or neglected our muscles start to build up tissuememory of highthened bodyresistances. You could say: the muscles become frightened to let go. This we call defensive muscular tension. The Stretching class of Raimondo is focussed on the reprogramming of the muscle memory. By means of quiet meditative music Raimondo takes you to a higher level of body awareness.

RAYNETICS “The form is the method" The essence of Raynetics is the reconstruction of the human body and the improvement of its biomechanics. The most important aspects of the biomechanics are: strength, agility and coordination. The programme contains a wide selection of both strength and stretch exercises, which are interrelated in a musical way. Everyone can join the class and start at his own level. Under the personal supervision and guidance of Raimondo you will learn to carry out all exercises more and more precisely untill the exact form is reached. Practice makes perfect. THE FORM IS THE METHOD. The classes are finished with a ten-minute jumping session to music. Although this part has a cardio-conditional aspect, it is first and foremost a training of your reflexes. All together this method leads to a higher physical competence and therefore to more pleasure in life! |
