Annette Prudham

Administrator / Receptionist

Born and bred in Australia, Annette began her dancing career at an early age with ballet as well as tap, jazz and modern. As a teenager she performed in many shows at the Sydney Opera House as ‘opening acts’ for artists such as Sammy Davis jr., Bob Hope and Peggy Lee. She received her A.R.A.D (ballet) and F.A.T.D.(tap) diplomas, before being accepted to The Australian Ballet School. There she toured with the ‘Dancers Company’ (3rd year students) dancing in Swan Lake, Giselle and La fille mal Gardee. After graduating she worked with both the Australian Ballet & Australian Opera Companies before heading of to Europe, with a stopover in Japan (Yamashiro) working as principal dancer in a cabaret show. Once settled in London, she worked throughout Europe and in 1989 eventually landed on Dutch soil. Shortly thereafter she began work in productions such as Cabaret, the musical (1989-90), Funny Girl (1991-92) as well as tv shows and events such as Ron’s Honeymoon Quiz, Hollywood Connection, World Press Photo Gala, Conamus etc. From 1993-1997 she worked in the Lido Amsterdam with the shows Passion & Kaptain Bananas, before hanging up her dance shoes for something completely different. Now she enjoys her role as mother of two with her part time job as receptionist here at DanceStreet.
